At the time of this project, Tofino’s tourism economy was exploding with high-profile coverage from the New York Times and global recognition for their calibre of experience. But Tourism Tofino was running on a brand and a website built on dated systems and faded trends.

We joined the team to help design and develop a new website that reflects and respects the beauty of the region while giving users all the tools to plan the perfect visit. In the process, we revitalized their identity with contemporary typography and a colour system that bucks the garish family fun colours you’d expect, for a muted palette that matches the nurturing, introspective vibe of the town.
